Howe, Riley & Howe, CPA’s Partner with Verani Coat Drive Team

Prior to the finish of Verani’s 2012 coat drive, the CPA’s at Howe, Riley & Howe, PLLC joined forces with Prudential Verani Realty. A local/regional CPA firm in Manchester, NH they have been in business since 1950 performing audits, reviews, compilations, tax planning, and tax preparation and much more. Being a former employee, I knew firsthand that the firm has always been civically minded, and has supported many great organizations through the years. Knowing this, I reached out to some of my previous colleagues, and sure enough they stepped up to help! It turns out the firm made a decision to becomeeven more active and give back to the community.

A committee was set up to handle volunteer efforts and they encouraged their staff to participate individually as well as in groups. Since they formed the committee they have painted a house for Families in Transition, did a Thanksgiving Drive for Granite Pathways, a Toys for Tots drive, and now the Prudential Verani Coat Drive. The committee, including Julia Doucette, CPA and Donna M. Wageling, CPA did an outstanding job encouraging people to bring in coats! They collected over 100 coats in addition to other winter gear.
