Nashua, Litchfield and Hudson residents know there is no 4th of July party like that at historical Holman Stadium (67 Amherst Street, Nashua) on July 4th. This year is no different.
Historic Holman Stadium in Nashua (67 Amherst Street, Nashua) will be hosting The Jeff Morin Memorial Field Day celebration at 10am. This includes bounce houses, carnival games, magic acts, delicious food- and more!
By 5pm, Boston City Rythym will be performing a free concert in the outfield of the legendary stadium. This leads way to The Lions Club- Nashua Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 8pm. The Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps will have a mini-concert at 8:30pm. The main event, the amazing fireworks, will be starting at 9pm!
It is very important to arrive at the stadium by 5pm at the latest, as traffic is very heavy! If you love crowds, bumping into neighbors and meeting new friends- this is a great place to be. Those preferring the less crowded view of the beautiful fireworks can hide out at a high point of Spit Brook Road in Nashua, my favorite was always the concierge level of the Radisson Hotel (1 Tara Boulevard, Nashua). Here you are away, yet nearly at eye level of the amazing display.
For those preferring a small town feel to viewing the same fireworks, head over the Hudsons’ Hannaford Supermarket parking lot (Route 102, Hudson), where you will see a tailgating, fun group of locals and visitors enjoying ice cream and a drive-in theme of the celebration.
