SNHU Pumpkin Festival1030-snhu

Southern New Hampshire University’s Office of Service & Community Involvement is hosting the SNHU Pumpkin Festival on Saturday with all donations going to Camp Sunshine, which supports children with life threatening illnesses and their families. Pumpkin Festival activities will include pumpkin carving, music, face painting, coloring contests for kids, among many other games and attractions for all ages. This event is open to the public. Pumpkins will be available at the event; visitors can bring their own to display.

CATS at New Hampshire’s Palace Theatercats
October 31-November 1, 2009 Manchester, NH

A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS, tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. One of the most successful musicals of all time, CATS ran on Broadway for over 18 years.

New Hampshire Lions Haunted House lions
October 30-31, 2009 Manchester, NH

The 2009 edition of the New Hampshire Lions haunted house is set to “scare the yell out of you” at the home of the Fisher Cats. Nearly 100 volunteers will be there to ensure your safe but chill-filled half hour journey into the unknown. All 13 rooms divided into 3 haunted areas are enclosed for your comfort rain or moon. Proceeds will benefit the Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation of New Hampshire. This event is not recommended for ages eight or younger.
