Prudential Verani Commercial Bikes for the American Lung Association

The NH Spokes bike team, sponsored by Prudential Verani Realty Commercial, just completed the 56 mile Cycle the Seacoast bike trek for the American Lung Association. The 5 member team was created by Bob and Abigail Anderson and included Bret Houle, Rob Grimmett, and Marsha Simmons. They completed the ride on Sunday May 2, 2010 and survived to tell about it. The Team raised over $1,200, most of which was made up of donations from friends, family members, and colleagues.

It was a beautiful day and the Team left Portsmouth at 8:30 AM to travel through the beautiful back roads of the Seacoast through New Castle, Rye, Exeter, Seabrook, and back up the Coast. The Weather was perfect, and while they were not first to return, the entire team made it through the trip.

This marks the second American Lung Association Trek that Bob and Abigail have completed following the Cape Cod ride of 108 miles last October. So far they have raised over $6,000 for the American Lung Association.

Future trips are planned this year and both team members and donations will be appreciated. Want to ride?
