Prudential Verani Realty Announces Support of The CareGivers, Inc.

Located at 19 Harvey Road in Bedford, NH, The CareGivers has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years.  They are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.  Their mission is to help the frail, elderly and disabled citizens in the community maintain their independence and dignity through the spirit of volunteerism.  They recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Verani decided it was time we get involved!

Twenty-one agents from their Bedford, Londonderry and Nashua offices began volunteering at The CareGivers on January 21st.  They delivered groceries to over 60 people throughout Manchester and Nashua.

Every month the CareGivers reaches out to clients to create a personalized shopping list and then pack bags full of available food that meets their needs and tastes.  Then the food is ready to be delivered!  Each clients’s groceries are prepacked in canvas tote bags.  Presently, The CareGivers serves 150 households, divided equally between the Greater Manchester and Nashua communities.

Continued volunteerism will begin in April, supporting this organization on a monthly basis throughout the year.
