Arlington Pond Protective Association Launches New Website
By Melanie Norcross
One of Salem’s greatest treasures, Arlington Pond, now has a new home on the web! The Arlington Pond Protective Assocation (APPA) recently launched it’s new site www.arlingtonpond.com, which provides information about events, news, and the history of the lake. There are also videos and photos on the site of past events, including the recent WFXT FOX 25′s “Road Trip” segment by FOX 25 reporter Frank Mallicoat, who is a lake resident.
Arlington Pond truly is a beautiful spot. If you like kayaking, canoeing, or photography, it would be well worth a visit!
The APPA, a non-profit organization that was established in 1976 to address the water level of Arlington Pond, works tirelessly to protect the lake’s water level and water quality, as well as fostering a sense of community among residents of Arlington Pond.
Check it out at www.arlingtonpond.com.
