On June 14, 2011 the Capitol Region Board of REALTORS® presented Linda Hutton with the REALTORS® Honor Society Lifetime Membership.  This is a very special recognition as this membership is reserved for those REALTORS® who have  maintained their Honor Society membership for 15 years.

In order to maintain membership in the REALTORS® Honor Society, members must re-qualify each year, by obtaining 150 points.  Points are calculated based on involvement in community, board, NHAR and education.

The primary purpose of the New Hampshire REALTORS® Honor Society is to encourage board participation among members in order that they might be better educated, active members to serve their customers/clients and in return bring credit to themselves and the real estate industry.  The program is designed for both the newer REALTOR® as well as those who have held NHAR membership for a number of years – it is intended to recognize those members who are actively participating in REALTOR® functions.

At the recent Seacoast Board of Realtors Awards, both Cathy Youngs and Kathy Rush were recognized for their commitment & dedication to the real estate industry. They received a special Awards Certificate as Members of the NH Associate of Realtor Honor Society. Both are Prudential Verani Portsmouth associates.

The Awards Certificate acknowledged Cathy’s 24 years and Kathy’s 28 years as Members. Congratulations and thank you for your quality professionalism & outstanding service!

Prudential Verani Realty is very proud to announce that Linda Hutton, Prudential Verani Concord was awarded REALTOR of the Year by the Capitol Region Board. Linda received the award at the recently held Capitol Region Board of Realtors General Membership meeting.

“I was so surprised, shocked and delighted when Kathy Ahlin, President Elect for the Capitol Region Board, was announcing the Realtor of the Year and she actually said my name”, Linda Hutton commented, “I am both humbled and thrilled at the same time. I have supported our local Board for over 18 years and always encourage my fellow Realtors to support it”. She further said, “I value the friendship of, and have great respect for my fellow Realtors and encourage any activity that will elevate our standing within our community and with the general public. I am hopeful that this honor will help me contribute to uplifting the vocation of Realtors”.

Linda is a highly regarded participant and supporter of the local Board in various capacities and has also chaired the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC). RPAC protects and promotes the tradition of home ownership and real estate investment. She also is a member of several State Association Committees such as the Public Policy, NHAR Legal and NHAR RPAC Committees.

“I am so very proud to be a Realtor and to be a member of the Capitol Region Board, NH Association of Realtors (NHAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR)”, Linda commented, “They say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life”.

Prudential Verani Realty is very proud of 3 very special “Veranians” who were honored at the Greater Manchester/Nashua Board of Realtors (GMNBR) Awards Banquet. It was recently held at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH.

GMNBR announced that Nancy Philbrick of Prudential Verani Londonderry is the 2011 Manchester/Nashua REALTOR of the Year!  The REALTOR of the Year honor seeks to recognize individual Realtors who exemplify the high standards of service and ethical behavior for their local Board. Nancy was selected for her selfless commitment to GMNBR.  In accepting her award, Nancy commented, “I’ve worked in this profession for over two decades and I realize that Realtors are a special group, not unlike a family, and I love working with you all.”  She later stated, “The recognition for my personal efforts and ethics is wonderful, but what’s important to me is the opportunity to work and volunteer with so many talented, hard-working individuals”.

The GMNBR Good Neighbor Award was presented to John MacGilvary, Prudential Verani Londonderry Center Regional Manager, in recognition for his efforts with The CareGivers Inc., Bedford, NH. The CareGivers is an organization that helps elderly and disabled seniors live in their homes for as long as possible. As a member of the CareGivers Board of Directors, John coordinates a team of Prudential Verani associates in delivering food to those in need.

A 25-year pin was presented by GMNBR to Lori Aurora, Prudential Verani Bedford Broker/Associate. Lori has dedicated her exemplary professionalism and accomplishments to the real estate industry for an outstanding 25 years.

Prudential Verani Realty has been named one of the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority’s (NHHFA) Top Participating real estate offices of 2010. The “Top Participating” real estate offices have been the most active in generating new Single Family Mortgage loans through the NHHFA.

“If you’re a first time buyer it’s good to know that there are real estate offices across the state that are experienced with the New Hampshire Housing mortgage products,” said Liz Lamoureux, managing director of Home Ownership at New Hampshire Housing. “The Authority appreciates the hard work of these top offices and is pleased to work with these professionals to serve buyers purchasing their first homes.”

NHAR President honored with Omega Tau Rho award

New Hampshire Association of Realtors President Monika McGillicuddy was recently inducted into Omega Tau Rho, a 60-year-old fraternity established by the National Association of Realtors to honor exceptional service to the real estate community.

McGillicuddy, a 25-year veteran of the real estate industry and an agent with Prudential Verani in Londonderry, was presented with the Omega Tau Rho Medallion of Service at the final 2010 NHAR board of directors meeting by the organization’s Executive Vice President, Paul Griffin.

“Monika McGillicuddy typifies what it means to be an Omega Tau Rho member,” Griffin said. “She has been a true leader, not only as President during these challenging economic times, but throughout her career as a real estate professional.”

McGillicuddy has served on the association’s board of directors for 15 years, and has been the chair of NHAR’s professional development and legal committees. She is a lifetime member of the NHAR honor society for her continued service. She has been her local board’s president and a three-time Realtor of the Year.

She is also a long-time real estate trainer and program developer throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, and is considered to be one of the nation’s foremost social media experts in the industry.

“This award is truly an honor, as it marks exemplary dedication and service by a very few select Realtor members to their organizations,” Griffin said. “Nobody deserves it more than Monika.”

Omega Tau Rho was created in 1950, and recipients are considered members for life.

On December 2nd, The New Hampshire Board of Realtors awarded Prudential Verani Realty’s Kathy Lee, the President’s Award for all her hard work and dedication to the board. Ms Lee is the Regional Manager for the Concord Prudential Verani Realty Office. Her career has included 25+ years of management. Previously, she managed the production, quality, processes and employees of an Engineering Department. Today, as the Regional Manager for the Concord office, her focus is to empower her associates and to grow their business through knowledge, training, technology, coaching and business planning. She perceives that maintaining a motivational work environment is an essential ingredient in the recipe for growth and success in Real Estate sales. She is a Director on the Concord Board of Realtors and has served as Chairperson for the Public Relations Committee on the board.

The New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (NHCIBOR) elected Bob Anderson as their 2011 President. Mr. Anderson is associated with the commercial real estate department of Prudential Verani Realty in Portsmouth, NH. Bob spent 23 years in the High Tech business development field prior to starting his Commercial and Investment Real Estate Career in 2002. Running a software development company with a project management, investment and business development background has prepared Bob for helping his Commercial Real Estate clients to realize the full potential of their Investments.
