This award is presented to the REALTOR® that has truly represented a high standard of service and ethical behavior for the board and REALTOR® name. “Steve has worked so hard over the last decade, serving the REALTOR® community, local charities, and clients, while staying dedicated to continuing education and standards of practice” added John.
The award was announced on Thursday, May 9th during a special GMNBR ceremony. Steve was given the award based on several factors, some of which include service to board members, designation, board activity participation, and continued education.
However, the part that “Veranians” see from Steve every day is one of the factors that the GMNBR sets as the highest priority in determining this award’s recipient:
“We look for the value in a person’s REALTOR® spirit and REALTOR® ethics as they conduct their business with high principles and faithfulness to our Code of Ethics.”
Steve demonstrated this in his response when asked by Verani agents what receiving this honor meant to him. He said “I am overwhelmed by the support and congratulations from all of you, my friends, but to me, this is OUR award. I am very grateful to Margherita and Giovanni, who have supported my ventures for many years. Working with them and all of you at Verani is the greatest. Thanks!”

A Ceremony Unlike Any Other
Prudential Verani Realty (PVR) hosted their Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony this year at the Castleton in Windham NH with a special presentation that celebrated history, camaraderie, success and not to mention a whole lot of fun!
With the “The Best Is Yet To Come” as this year’s theme, Margherita Verani, President, and Giovanni Verani, Vice President, started the morning with a special video which spanned the history of the firm – from the beginning in 1967 when their father Osvaldo Verani started the company with one Associate, to years later when the company grew up to 12 Associates and onto present day where we are now celebrating our 46th year in business with over 330 Associates!
Each Prudential Verani Regional Office also had the opportunity to get involved in the presentation by creating an Office video that celebrated and shared their camaraderie. From dancing and singing to acting out TV proofs – agents laughed their way throughout the presentation, which of course also covered business related topics, market share and strategies.

On June 14, 2011 the Capitol Region Board of REALTORS® presented Linda Hutton with the REALTORS® Honor Society Lifetime Membership. This is a very special recognition as this membership is reserved for those REALTORS® who have maintained their Honor Society membership for 15 years.
In order to maintain membership in the REALTORS® Honor Society, members must re-qualify each year, by obtaining 150 points. Points are calculated based on involvement in community, board, NHAR and education.
The primary purpose of the New Hampshire REALTORS® Honor Society is to encourage board participation among members in order that they might be better educated, active members to serve their customers/clients and in return bring credit to themselves and the real estate industry. The program is designed for both the newer REALTOR® as well as those who have held NHAR membership for a number of years – it is intended to recognize those members who are actively participating in REALTOR® functions.
At the recent Seacoast Board of Realtors Awards, both Cathy Youngs and Kathy Rush were recognized for their commitment & dedication to the real estate industry. They received a special Awards Certificate as Members of the NH Associate of Realtor Honor Society. Both are Prudential Verani Portsmouth associates.
