Help Save The VFW Post #483!

The VFW Post #483 is located at 2 Quincy Street, Nashua NH. This has been the home of Veterans of foreign wars to rely on, come to and share their stories – or to get away from their stories. At jeopardy of closing its doors due to low membership and activity, the Post and its members are opening their doors to invite the public to get to know what this local icon is all about and what it has stood for throughout the decades.

Every Friday, including today July 27, the Post invites you in for a Herb-A-Q! Herb is a longtime member and former Post Commander who is putting on his famous BBQ at the Post. There will be drinks, food, entertainment (band/karaoke if you dare!) and wonderful new friends to welcome you. The Post has done charity work in the community since its ribbon cutting decades ago. And now, it’s time for the community meet and greet these local heroes!

I will be at this event helping and serving food. If you’re going, please introduce yourself – I would love to tell you more about the events at the VFW, introduce you to the members and my baby brother who will be celebrating and supporting the Post before heading to boot camp next month!
